Trisha Yearwood, who made headlines recently for her incredible transformation after losing 20lbs, has opened up about how she hasn’t quite adjusted to her new figure.
The 49-year-old country singer-turned-TV cook, who was a size 14 until her weight loss, says in the November issue of O Magazine that getting used to her size-eight body has been harder than she predicted.
'I still wake up every day and think there's no way my clothes will fit,' she admitted. 'I used to try on ten things and just wear whatever was the least offensive.'

The star, whose husband of eight years is fellow country music artist Garth Brooks, continued: 'I guess I still have that mental block.'
Ms Yearwood, who hosts Food Network show Trisha's Southern Kitchen, revealed in April that she had shrunk from a size 14 to a size ten, thanks to cutting down her food intake to just 1,200 calories a day.

Share'I haven't been a size ten since the fifth grade,' she told People at the time. 'My butt and my waist are smaller, and I like seeing that in the mirror!'
Now, another size down, she still sticks to a healthy lifestyle of 'dieting and exercise', but not without some more challenging days.

Further elaborating, the singer explained that she keeps up her diet most days, but she does allow herself a treat - specifically, chocolate cake - once in a while.
Ms Yearwood also told People she does three work-out sessions a week with a personal trainer, and that a new-found love of Zumba has certainly helped too.
'After the first five minutes I was addicted!' she said. 'I schedule my life around going to this class.'
Diet has also been central to her transformation, and rather than following a nutritionists' prescription, Ms Yearwood developed her own low-calorie plan.
'I designed my own plan that's low-fat, low-sugar 90per cent of the time,' she revealed.
Her weekly shopping list includes boneless chicken breasts, cabbage and carrots, and she plans out menus for the week, so that everything is portion-controlled.
